Things you need to know before travelling!

Things you need to know before Travelling!

My first Travel blog of many, who's excited? Because I definitely am!For those who know me, my life long dream has been to travel the world. At the age of 14 I made  a list of all the places I want to go and who with. The who with list may have changed now but the places... well they never changed.

I was talking to a friend recently and he intends on travelling South East Asia (possibly) in the next year and listening to his plans has made me so much more ambitious. My thought was "The world is so big I don't even know where to start!!" But really it's not too big, it's beautiful, different and full of adventures we walk everyday.

There is so much you need to consider and check before you up and leave. So I am here to help and break to down for you. Let's go!

Who you Travel with.
Just remember whoever you decide to travel  with needs to have the same interests as you, wanting to go see the same places and visit the same attractions. You don't want to be bickering over where you do and don't want to visit. ALWAYS travel with someone who seeks an adventure! This will guarantee amazing memories to share with that special someone.

What you pack.
When travelling to other countries you obviously pack the essentials: clothes, make up, phone charger and toiletries. But there may be other things you wouldn't even consider. I don't know about you guys but I am awful for taking photos...too many of them that is. Once I start I just cant stop, so my recommendation is take an extra storage card because you'd never forgive yourself for missing a special moment due to no storage. Plug adapters! You don't want to forget that otherwise you can end up with an uncharged camera and phone and lets be honest that'd be totally gutting!! A good idea is to pack between you and your #travelbuddy so you don't double up on things that aren't necessary.

The season you go,
Always check what season you're travelling! A lot of places have rather rainy seasons or where its far to hot to a point  you can no longer enjoy the experience. Always keep that in mind!!

FESTIVALS!
What better way to check out the culture than to go the local festivals and carnivals! It gives you the perfect opportunity to meet the local people and have fun! So always check what's going on in the local area you might even find a new adventure to embark on.

Hostelling.
If you haven't already figured out what it is hostelling is where you jump from hostel to hostel staying there a few nights checking out the local area to move on. Hostels are a great way to meet other people maybe even pick a few tips off other travellers not to mention they aren't too pricey either!!

And last but not least....

Everyone's Adventure Is Different.
If you want to visit the undiscovered wonders of the world... you do that! Don't ever follow anyone else. It's your adventure so let it be unique to you! And always have fun!

I hope these help you lovely readers on your big adventure and have a fab week!

A Leap, Skip And A Jump!xxx
